Swiss rifle scabbards...

The top one is for the M1893 carbine.


The same type but just a little bigger is for the K11/K31.





The second is for the Stgw57, this scabbard was a modified one it looked originally like the one on the top but it was changed to make place for the much wider Stgw57 assault rifle.





The last one was specially made for the Stgw57 and those date from the 60's/70's





Before anybody starts asking <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START : --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":">; , yes these were used by the horse cavalry that the Swiss had till '74.

The K-31 scabbards seem to be prevalent lately....I guess I may break down and get one. It would make a proper gun case at least<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">;
