Anybody notice the 91/30's with hex receivers?

Niner,

If you ever decide to put a no modification scope mount on one of those I highly recommend the one offered by Makarov.com for $35.I put one on a 91/59 which has the same rear sight type and installation takes about 5 minutes and is rock solid.You use an LER scope in a scout configuration.The accuracy will astound you.

I wonder if the mount you are talking about is any different from Darrell's, which is designed on the same idea. Darrell showed me a couple of his rifles with his scope mounts. Darrell's are really solid.

I looked at makarov.com cant find any reference to a mount.

I have one of Darrels mounts it works well.
