Inland w/5-44 Barrel Date
I bought this about 20 or so years ago for the then staggering sum of $200 tax included!

Thanks Joe! I don't shoot it much anymore, but the kids do! The little monsters won't give me the chance. Other than two coats of linseed oil on the stock about 5 years ago, the only thing I have done to that Carbine is shoot it and clean it. In the past 20 years there has been about 2.5K +/- though it. Most of that was in the first few years after I got it. I am sure there are a few more years of good accuracy left in barrel.

Now that's what I call getting your monies worth.
I particularly like seeing how the sling fits over the oiler in the stock slot... isn't that what it is? My carbine doesn't have a sling, but it's on the list.

Gorgeous!
I'll bet at $200 20 years ago, it was considered a "pricey" carbine, huh?
She's a beaut!
Wish I'd have picked a few more up when they were affordable....

life is the crummiest book I ever read,
there isn't a hook,
just a lot of cheap shots,
pictures to shock,
and characters an amateur would never dream up-Guerwitz-1994
