HELP! Bubba got medieval on my Guardia Civil!

I regret to report that my latest acquisition, a 1916 Guardia Civil Mauser converted to 7.62 NATO, has been violated in a deeply personal and horrific way by our collective nemesis, Bubba. Before you all scratch your heads (or any other anatomical region) and ask, "well, why'd you get it?" I should point out the sale price was $50, there was no paperwork, and I did not realize the extent of Bubba's evil at the time.

What has happened is this: the rear sight is of the common "rollercoaster type," with the gradients marked on either side as well as on the leaf. Unhappily, the slide is gone entirely, replaced by a flush-fit Allen head set-screw in a hole drilled through the rear end of the leaf just ahead of the notch. I know, it turns your stomachs, but the worst is yet to come.

Moving forward to the muzzle, we next find a pair of round-top slot-head screws on either side of the sight base inserted through holes drilled and tapped in the base, evidently Bubba's brilliant innovation in the arena of do-it-yourself windage adjustment. They aren't even the same color.

Finally, not content with the Jason Voorhies-esque butchery he has perpetrated thus far, Bubba decided to ruin the base itself by drilling out and tapping the leaf pin holes and replacing the pin, which used to go all the way through and held the leaf perfectly securely, with another pair of Allen head set-screws! How these held the leaf in place against the spring as long as they did is beyond me. Naturally, they didn't hold too long after I flipped the sight up after taking out the "windage adjustment" screws to remove the upper handguard for cleaning. Have you ever tried to hold a leaf against a stiff spring while trying to adjust two opposing Allen screws at the same? I hope that not only did Bubba's ears burn, but that his head spontaneously combusted.

Now, my point: where can I find parts to fix this? I have tried Numrich, Springfield Sporters, Sarco, TN Gun Parts, and about every link on Surplusrifles.com. I can fadge up the base problems, I hope, but I want to replace the rear leaf with one with a slide. Can anybody help?

I should point out that my rifle has the later variation sights, not the early Lange-Visier (I have also seen it spelled "Vizier") type.

Scroll down to the pictures. The one marked "UM163" is the sight I have, though obviously the slide is gone, there are screws in the sides, and the leaf pin is missing and replaced with Allen screws, as I have noted above.

That's a pretty good link to observations about the M1916. I'll have to go check out the serial numbers on mine when I get a chance.

Samco imported my rifle and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't supply the rest you see at SOG and whomever else. Why not contact Samco, and if they don't have any extra parts, perhaps they have a rifle that was returned for some reason that they will sell you cheap for the spare parts.
