Interesting News.....

"...the new 'Lee-Enfield Rifles' edition I will start to publish at the end of this
year."

Got this in an Email from somebody in Australia.

Could it possibly be of any interest to anyone here?

Probably not-----not many "bookish" types around these parts!

Forget I said anything!

I presume Krinko that this is Skennertons long awaited revamp of the Lee Enfield Story including the P14/17 this time, that you are referring to.

That publishing date has been on his web site a while now.

I'm certainly looking forward to getting my copy when it finally lands.

There has been a lot of stuff uncovered since his last rewrite some of it even authenticated. :D

You can read his website?

The transition from the old to the "Enfield Collector" has left the place so disjointed, I can't stand to navigate it.

So it isn't news, after all. Oh well, sorry.

At the Tulsa Gun Show in April, I will be taking along a 1986 Ishapore No1 Mk3* and a few screwdrivers---so he can verify what it is and IF it is and all that stuff. Last April it was the BSA No4 Mk1/2.

It's something to do on the second day, after I have spent all my money.
