Automatic feed

Perusing the holiday snaps and found this litle item. Like they say - nothing new under the sun. Sure I have a picture of a semi-automatic crossbow somewhere as well, just can't find it.

"...semi-automatic crossbow..." The Chinese one? That's a mag fed, bolt action not a semi-auto. I've seen a replica in action. Slick. Lots of bolts in the air, but no accuracy. Not surprising since it was designed to be used from a castle wall.

I've seen footage of a replica of a Roman version using a set of cams to draw the string and a rotary feed from an overhead box magazine.
