Entrenching Tool

Things a soldier would carry other than firearms, ammo, or uniforms. Meaning equipment such as ammo pouches, bayonets, holsters, oil cans, cleaning equipment, etc.

British Army WW11 entrenching tool in mint unused condition.

Packed for carry...

And the shaft has a fitting to take the No.4 bayonet..

Wasn't the bayonet attachment for probing for mines?

excellent shape and I believe it was for probing for mines and did you just aquire that joe are just holding out on us :D

I thought it was for making toast.

I would rather do toast than probe for mines with it ;)

Robert, unfortunately its not mine, but belongs to a friend of mine who sniffs out select goodies like this. :D
