I HAVE THE SAME FLASK FOR MY 1858 REMINGTON BISON 44 REVOLVER. I JUST TOOK THE CAP OFF AN EMPTY BP CAN AND POKED A SMALL HOLE IN THE TOP, BIG ENOUGH TO PUSH AN EMPTY RIFLE CARTRIDGE THROUGH TILL IT STICKS OUT THE TOP OF THE LID. I THEN DRILLED A HOLE IN THE BASE OF THE SHELL CASING. I THEN EPOXIED THE SHELL CASING INTO THE HOLE OF THE LID. THE OPENING DIAMETER OF THE CASING IS SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT INTO MY FLASK HOLE AFTER THE NOZZLE IS REMOVED. I USED A CARTRIDGE FROM MY CHINESE SKS. I JUST TAKE THE LID OFF MY BP CAN AND SCREW MY MODIFIED LID ONTO THE CAN. USING THE CASING AS MY FUNNEL I FILL MY FLASK, PUT THE REGULAR LID BACK ONTO THE CAN WHEN FINISHED WITH THE FILL, AND MY MODIFIED LID GOES INTO MY HARDWARE BOX TILL MY FLASK IS EMPTY AGAIN.IT WORKS GREAT FOR ME. HOPE SOME ONE ELSE CAN GET SOME USE OUT OF MY IDEA.THANKS FOR LISTENING. BILL
