What they are putting forward is almost exactly as the law is in the UK and it has made no difference to gun crime.

"...UN auspices..." I wouldn't worry about anything that happens at the Third World Debating club. It has no jurisdiction nor authority to make laws for anybody anywhere.

I think I heard that that UN committee did not reach anykind of workable agreement. It's been sheleved for now or just "died". I sure there will be another attempt. I think current events have the UN too busy at the moment for anymore of this bs at the moment.

And the new head of Canada is trying to weaken their gun laws concockted in Ottawa.

Let's get this right these are the same bunch of morons that think if they make a resolution that the rest of the world will suddenly take note and stop any bad stuff they are doing......

The only reason for the UN is so they can be full of their own self importance. It's an exclusive club where people can stand in front of the world media and pretend to be smart and care about the rest of the world.
