I like watching (sometimes) Gaelic Football Played Under The Australian Rules, now apparently known as AFL,

I had the unique distinction, at school, of captaining the only Rugby League team in the school's history that never scored a try or gained a point at anything else in a season.

I had picked my team with great care.

Soccer is a corruption of Association Football Known also as Footy. It was when the codes were formed and Rubgby football and association football went their seperate ways over handling the ball rules etc. Rugby later split into 2 further codes of Union and League!

Its only called Soccer Saturday as Football Friday wouldnt be seen by anyone as they are at work!

Its really only the seppos and Aussies that cant say long words without first destroying them!

Edited to add, not a dig. I want to move down under but the stupid gun laws are really stopping me. They are worse than here and that says a lot.

Errr what's football? Soccer?

Rugby I know that there is two sets of rules but couldn't tell you difference.

As you may tell I have no interest in either game. Oh it's not sport, Hunting is a sport as is fishing and Horse Racing. Fottball/soccer call it what you will, Rugby, Cricket are games not sports ;)

Oh they tried to make us play games at school but as I had no interest in I just stood around.
