I think the Lee Enfield would take the No.1 position in greatest fan base if only the ammo was cheap and plentiful as other mainstream milsurps. the only rifle I shoot is a Fazakerly 1943 dated No.4 and it the most affordable of the few rifles I care to own.

The milsurp ammo for the 303 has dried up in the merchant pipeline sure enough. But.... if you reload your ammo it gets to be a lot more affordable than buying new factory loads every time. The 303 was the first round I started reloading when some of the guys here got me interested in reloading as a hobby in itself. That reminds me, I've got a hundred cases cleaned that need reloading right now.

well, they ain't gonna reload themselves!!! I'm loading match grade .303 for just over $8.00 per 20 rounds.
