I have flown my St. George's Cross Flag every 23 April for the last few years. I'm probably one of the few people in Toledo, Ohio, United States who are even aware of what 23 April is, and let alone care. I'm not certain if I will fly England's flag at the new house this year, simply because I am taking St. George's flag with me when I go to shoot at the range with my friend. Hopefully we will fly the flag there. I wonder if anyone will give us any crap about flying it? LOL
Being a third generation English-American who cares about my ancestry...sometimes I feel like that only one here where I live. I really think it would be great if more people in the U.S. who are of English Ancestry started to take an interest in there past, or try to locate living relatives in Blighty, etc. Anyway, odds are I will fly St George's Cross this Saturday, just not sure where I will fly it at.
Then again, I started this topic about my 1943 BSA No.4 Mk.I, so I'll try and get back on topic LOL. Really looking forward to loosing off some Mk.VII Cartridges this weekend. I've had this rifle for a while and not yet had a safe and legal place to fire it.
Thanks
Mark
