The optics on the SMLE are Neil sights, I have photos of these interesting optics somewhere, i will try to dig them out.
Peter i am pleased someone got some decent photos, mine are pretty poor. Time to invest in a new camera methinks.
Brass Rat, yep, 07 sling, well spotted.

Gentleman,
My apologies for not getting a post up sooner, but there was a short side trip to Leeds on the way back to Belfast.
Firstly a very big thank you to everyone involved in what was a truly memorable weekend. You blokes really don't know how grateful I am and how impressed I am at your generosity.
It was great to meet all the lads (Dromia, Joseyclosey, dhtaxi, Peter, the gunrunners, Mr Enfield). My apologies if I've missed anyone. The firearms that were available (and literally thrust into my hands in some cases) were truly breathtaking. And yes that includes the MAS.
Unfortunately its go, go ,go here organising to fly out to London on Weds then on to Europe Thurs. So just a few quick pics then it will be silence for a month or two.
Looooove that Martini, unfortunately someone never turned their back.

Could we have an identity caption to the group photo? I'm sure there are others besides me who'd be interested.
I'll even post a picture of me in return, if you're not squeamish
Eoin.

OK from left to right:
Graeme aka Woftam, Stuart aka Gunrunner, Peter aka PeterN2, Joe aka joseyclosey, Dave aka dhtaxi, Charles aka Gunrunner, Adam aka Dromia.
Just got an email from Graeme, safe back from Leeds and getting ready for his grand tour before heading home to Oz.
He extends his heartfelt thanks to all those who made his weekend so enjoyable, I do hope it helped his stay in Britain end on a high.
I would like to thank Graeme for his good company and dry Ozzy crack, not to mention the joy of having someone to talk guns and shooting with all weekend.
He also says that his presence on the forum will be patchy whilst he's travelling but he will try and log in when he can.
We all look forward to his regular presence and contributions upon his return home, safe travelling Graeme.

Adam, the picture doesn't do you justice - you're much uglier than that in the flesh.
Slight confusion on the caption front - which of the happy band
is 'Gunrunner"? And where was Jim?
Looks like you had a great time, fellas, and I agree, that Martini is a beauty.

Brian there are two Gunrunners, Stuart, 2nd from left and Charles, 2nd from right. Jim, The Jumper Man, had a passout for the day but he hosted a clay pigeon shoot for woftam on Sunday

More pics to follow later on that expedition

Neither Gunrunner seems to be registered here. You are falliing down on the job! Or maybe they don't have the computer disease.

The Gunrunners are Charles Stuart Associates, purveyors of fine firearms to the discerning collector.
http://www.charlesstuart-associates.co.uk/index.html
When they set themselves up as dealers I promptly dubbed them "The Gunrunners" hence the plural and Brians confusion, Gunrunner is not an internet nome de plume.
Quiet a few of our shooting colleagues are not big internet fans, Jim the Jumper man is another netty averse individual. Jim had a bad cold hence his lack of appearance at Deerpark that wasn't.
