'An feileadh mhor' is packed away somewhere so, in lieu thereof, here's an old photo of me wearing it at a Scottish Ball about 15 years ago.
(if he looked like that then, what does he look like now?)

A fine figure of a man in proper masculine attire.
Aye ye make a bonny heilan laddie Eoin.
Were you in Braveheart ?

I was nae in 'Braveheart', actually I don't consider it a good film on the subject, much preferred Liam Neissen (?) in 'Rob Roy'.
The clasp is a copy of the Tara Broach from Ireland, and thanks for the kind remarks.
Eoin.
thanks for the pictures

@ warner 520. Must be nice shooting in shirt sleeves and shorts Kevin, we had rather different attire for our shoot today. Nice pics, thanks for the links.

Gentlemen,
Just a quick hello. Currently in Copenhagen, a brisk minus one but sunny with it. Have taken the MAH badge to the Menin Gate on the way here and we've just been along to the Royal Arsenal Museum here. Will drop in again when internet access permits.

Eoin, Braveheart made no pretence to historical accuracy but it was a good romp though, haven't seen t'other one you mention.
Thanks for the pictures Warner, that "unsupported" is an old sniper position. My belly's too big for me to do that now
That picture of the Bren is a cracker also, a good one for the desk top methinks.
Helloooooooooooooo! Graeme

Aye, I'll agree it was a good romp, I always remember when when the Scots bared their arses to the English and one got an arrow is one buttock..
It was an inevitable bit of film making but good.

Greetings all. Just a quick hello.
Made it back home in one piece, although quite a bit poorer than when I started. Poorer at least in the financial sense, much richer in the good memories department. Very good memories of a motley collection of Poms and their generosity to a total stranger.
Four fun filled days at work so far but I do have my rifles back and a practice day is scheduled at the local range for Sunday (Friday night at the moment)- yippeee.
Bad news is the local gunshop will be closing soon - bugger.
Cheers
Graeme
