Use what you have ... Enfields and P14 that are fitted with P-H aperture rear sights are fine.
Joe I am having problems with the Arisaka ... I might have to use the M1 Garand if that OK

I am using the Offical NRA SR-1, 100 yard Military Type Target, reduced from 200 Yard SR target, 21" x 24", 6-3/8" Black, as these are only target that I use anymore to practise for Camp Perry shoots

15 rounds is the course of fire not 25 Adam

Suggestion

Post by Niner » Mon Feb 19, 2007 3:32 pm

Patrick, why don't you spell out the complete rules including what kind of rifles allowed, what distance, sight limitations, shooting positions allowed, number of rounds, kind of ammo allowed, specific target, how scored, ways that the scoring is measured to hits on lines between rings, dates from start to finish, prizes?....etc. etc. ? Make one post and we can pin it next to the other contest chit chat.

Somebody kick Sgt Jethro's chair and wake him up. He's usually our most interested participant.

Where are you Sgt. Jethro?

Old sourpuss, grumpy arse AJ is probably collecting his coven together and falsifying, or as he would say shooting, targets already.

I'm even prepared to team up with the old bugger I don't mind carrying him.
