What are the dims of the NRA target so I can either find a similar one here or print up my own?
I found a Swiss one yesterday but it is only drawn out for pen-knife throwing

Duncan if you PM me your address i will send you one over, as i have few left. I tend to photocopy them on A3 paper and shoot on the photocopy.
If anyone else would like to use this target just PM me your address and i will post em out.

Use what you have ... Enfields and P14 that are fitted with P-H aperture rear sights are fine.
Joe I am having problems with the Arisaka ... I might have to use the M1 Garand if that OK
Patrick
The M1 is fine by me Patrick,
Joe

I will accompany you with my M17 patrick

Hi all, I have decided that I might as well join in the fun , if thats ok with everyone. Joseyclosey is being kind enough to send me a target. I live in N. Ireland. Dont know what rifle to use yet, probably my 1903A3. So all I need now is a partner. Any takers?
Regards
Ian

Monsieur La Poste just arrived with the target Joe. Thanks very much. I will now scan and print some up.
I might get a chance to use some tomorrow - will have to see.
One problem with our range is that it is not secure when we are not there so we cant leave anything about like sandbags or posts or benches.
I have just been up to the barn and filled a sandbag for my own use. Will have to see if it works like in the old days!!
Thanks again.

My planned day at the range didn't go as planned - I spent it at work instead. So will have to wait a while now.
Haven't decided on what rifle yet, will be a No1 but not sure which.
Patrick don't give me too hard an act to follow

oh, and by the way - you should have filled a sandbag for the rifle as well as for yourself
