The largest problem caused by gray squirrels in the US is to the song bird population. They raid bird feeders and eat up the birds free lunch. Maybe if they gave the population a free pass on buying .22 rifles without a license and having to have a safe to put it in, along with a hunting license and a recipe book on squirrel, they wouldn't have to bribe people to poison squirrels along with any stray other animals that happen by......like red squirrels.
What if countries thought the same way about reducing the amount of certain ethnic people in the population they thought they had too many of? Seems like some Isis nut jobs are trying that out right now.... killing off one sect of Muslims in favor of their favorite sect.
