B-29
The world's only flying WWII Boeing B-29 Superfortress comes in to land at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles. The WWII bomber will be on display and perform flight tours this week at the airport.

Re: B-29
She was in Tucson about two years ago when I was still there. Crawled all through it and it's very cool
on the inside, and then watched them change one of the props on a B-17 that had problems.
It was a really great day, the "Confederate" Air Force had 4 planes there that day.
But didn't go for a ride in B-29, it's $595 to $1595, depending on where you want to sit.......
It seems like a lot until you consider it is probably a once in a lifetime thing, and can you imagine
how much av-gas those 4 radials suck up.
But I just didn't have the funds at the time....
Link has about 130 photos of that day........

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.
