Wow, way to take perfectly good sticky buns....... and turn them to shit...... 
I have found that if you heat Marmite in the microwave for 25 seconds, it makes it much
easier to scrape it into the garbage can.....

and the funniest part is that American English spellings are often influenced by or are English spellings whereas the British English spellings are often influenced by French.

There is a memorial plaque to the Royal Scots at Waterloo that has a reference to the 'King's color' spelt the US way without the 'u' that is included in current British English. I assume this was the spelling that was in use in British service at the time just over 200 years ago.
If I had been Sergeant Major Quick I think I would have found something else to do rather than pick up the colour that the previous four people had been shot down holding.
