That is one purty rifle, I have allways liked laminated stocks. I just don't need another Mosin.

Out of 4 M39's 4 M44's, 2 M38's, and 2 91-30's the only one I have shot in a over a year is my 42 Sako.

Some day when I run out of other things to buy I am going to send my M1 target rifle off to Deans to be fitted with one of his laminated stocks.

By the way, welcome to MAH!

That is a noticable laminate. Interesting collectable. Glad you showed it to us. Anybody know when the laminated rifle stocks began production? In WWII, I know the k98k's started getting laminate later in the war as an expedient. This proved to be a good thing since the laminate was stronger and was resistant to warping from long time exposure to the elements. I'm totally ignorant about the Nagant laminated stocks as to time frame and other information.

An M1 in a laminated stock.....naw... it just isn't right. It's like dressing Babe Ruth in a tutu.
