VETTERLI SHOOTERS - READ

With the demise of Winchester, it may be wise to stock up on .348 brass, and guard your existing supply. You can bet the price is going up as supply dwindles.

I just ordered 200 more from Graf's.

Always a good idea to have plenty of brass around in those oldie calibers. However, FN Herstal's closing of the USRAC plant in Conn has nothing to do with Winchester ammo/brass that is produced by Olin Industries. The old Win plant will lock the doors on Mar 31, 2006. The closing's effect on what ammo/ brass Olin will continue to make remains to be seen......

FWIW, these are 2 different companies...

The rifle business belonging to FN, and the cartridge business to Olin. Other than the name, no connection at all - the brass should be reasonably safe.
