No.4 sight corrector

Post by joseyclosey » Sat Feb 18, 2006 11:51 am

My latest acquisistion :D

No.4 sight corrector, used by the instructor to check the soldiers aim. It was attached to the rear sight, the soldier takes aim and the instructor lies up close and looks through the angled blue glass to check the aim.

Joe

Came in its original box.

A lot smaller than the SMLE corrector.

Does this mean that you are looking for all the help you can get on the firing point Joe?

As you know I'm always ready to contribute with helpful hints about peoples shooting.

Thank god you mentioned what the chimney was, I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out it was before I saw the caption.

Are you bringing that next weekend ? I too can generally use all the help available.

I find the sight corrector for the No1 a real pain to set up. Must see if I can find myself one for the No4 it looks a very neat item.
The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it.
