1858 Enfield

Post by PeterN2 » Sun Mar 12, 2006 11:18 am

I have bought a Birmingham made Parker Hale 1858 Enfield .577 two band muzzle loader. The chap I bought it from has had it from new and used it only a little. I have some bullets cast already. I just need to get some lube made up and some caps. It will be next month before I get to the range with it. It is my first muzzle loading rifle. Any info on using the rifle appreciated.

Regards

Peter.

Read the series on Managing the Enfield on my web site. This will give you a goood overall introduction on getting started with the rifle.

Looking forward to hearing your results in due course.

I will read and inwardly digest the information and attempt to put it into practice.
