Hello grubber and welcome.
I always like to see pics of Arisakas. Where I am in the UK, they are uncommon. I have only seen one other shooter on a range shooting an Arisaka other than myself. I know of a Type 2 takedown model for sale in the UK but it is not the best example and the shop wants too much money for it. It has been for sale for about three years.
Regards
Peter.

Thnx for the welcome guys
Finally iorned out the problem I was having with the 38.
Maby a range report later this month. Can't wait to see what it can do with
Bullets that actually match the bore. The problem was a bore that mic .270 so normal 6.5 ammo .264 was barley touching the rifling
So I made a swaging die on my lath to squeeze down 270 bullets .277
To .270. preliminary tests look good. we shall see what a longer range test does.

Just keep shooting we'll worry about it when the smoke clears.

I'd like to see some photo's of what your Arisaka can do with some home made ammo. I've got a 38 that I've never fired that's on my going to do it some day list.
Welcome to the MIlsurp After Hours.

I am from the northwest of pa up by greenville- meadville area.
Heres a pic of the preliminary 50 yd target With my custom bullets.
I know I can group better. I was very twitchy that day. Due to the
5 truckloads of block I unloaded before getting to the range

The Arisaka T38 can be very good shooters. I shall have to try to put up a target and see how mine shoots. In the 6.5, I have a T38 long rifle, a T38 carbine and a T44. I think the T44 is the most acurate of mine.
Regards
Peter.

Looks like the rifle has a lot of potential.
