Here's a link for you US chappies to a recent forum that as far as I can see is supposed to be about heightening awareness across the US gun community about threats to gun ownership via boards of interest such as ours.

I picked this up from the Cast Boolit site that I frequent from time to time.

I don't feel qualified enough about US issues to have view on this but I thought that it was worth looking at by our US members to see if its something of use to you/us.

This is their statement of intent:


"Our purpose and intent

The purpose of this site is provide a central rally point or information dispersal point for all the various gun related/pro-2nd amendment websites and to alert those participating sites of ongoing legislative email/letter/phone campaigns. The intent is that the members here will be able to alert the other sites they frequent of these campaigns, and that a large and vigorous grassroots type of response by the members of those sites to their elected officials, industry and the media will show the large numbers of concerned gun rights citizens in the Nation. This site isn't intended to replace any current site or organization (NRA/GOA, etc) but rather to assist and support all participating sites and organizations in getting the word to those of us concerned with bolstering our rights.

This site does not support anti-Government ideals or unlawful activity of any kind.

We're here to provide support and resources for the dissemination of current information regarding legislative action on firearms related issues. We ask that while here you realize this is a publicly accessed site and hold your language and the content of your posts within the boundries of good taste. In other words don't post anything you might regret later. Flaming and personal attacks will not be tolerated.


Please feel free to offer suggestions on how to improve the site, on more efficient ways to get the information we need and to get it out and any other ideas you may have. This site is run by volunteers and is associated with the Gunloads.com
