Cleaning rods?

I'm likely one of the few remaining that still use a couple of 'liberated' issue M16 cleaning kits. I've been scolded before for using a steel rod and no boreguide.





You might 'convert' this caveman....well, maybe. List your preference for rods and/or guides. I'd be interested in the outcome.
