I'm getting my rifles revalued

on Ebay. Obviously they are worth much more than I thought   .

There's also a bog standard 1941 Lithgow bayonet with an asking price of $488 :!: with the claim they recently sold another for $560 :!: :!: .

Has common sense ceased to exist ? Do people not research their purchases ? Admittedly the major milsurp shop in NSW will gouge you $95 + postage for a complete bolt, but you can find them for less from a gunshop. But even $95 is less than half of what these bidders paid. Last one I bought was $30 + postage, and that was off Ebay

What is it about Ebay that sends commonsense out the window :?:
The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it.

Anybody, anywhere, who pays $165.73US, $177.56Cdn for just a bolt is nuts in the head. Especially if the guy thinks he can just put it in without checking the headspace.

$86.10US from Gunparts if you buy all the parts, screws included, separately. $105.21AU. Still expensive.
Spelling and grammar always count.
