Star B's back around again

Post by Niner » Sun Sep 23, 2007 11:32 am

The Star B is a Spanish made 9mm on the design of the 1911. They were made back during WWII and surface from time to time. I got one back in 2001 for $205.05 from SOG including shipping. Now AIM offers them for $299.95 plus shipping. Guess they have appreciated in value a bit in any case.

AIM sells them pretty good as pointing out features and benefits...like the "checkered backstrap"... Hardly earth shaking...but hey.. they are selling their product. :)

Cool gun. I've never owned one but they seem to be pretty neat to me. If I had seen this thread before the pistol ID thread I would have been a little more sure of my call on the Ballester/Star photo. :D

(I guessed one of them was a Star Model B because you said one wasn't a .45)
