Two Planes
One day in 1991 I took my kids to the Battleship Alabama....for one of the many times. Took a photo of the Alabama's plane above the rear deck. Getting back must have been more of a problem than being launched into the breeze. While I was on this same trip a Navy trainer from Pensacola happened by and came down for a close look at the ship...or maybe the plane on the ship.

Went back to the battleship yesterday, since I'm retired now and can goof off all I want now....
The plane on the battleship has been removed. It looks to have suffered some damage which has not been repaired. Maybe from one of the hurricanes... don't have any idea. Note the hole in the thing that supposed to make it float if landed on water. And that the outside wing landing supports have been removed. The tail section has some problems too....But it is inside of a building now and maybe they will repair it sooner or later.
