Identify the pistols contest

Post by Niner » Tue Oct 23, 2007 4:02 pm

Just because I was bored for a short time this afternoon. See if you can identify these rather common C&R hand guns from just a fraction of a picture of them.

Email me your guesses to...[edit].....strike that notion.... Karl gave me the idea to change the rules to just going for it by posting in this string.

Whoever gets them all right first wins a Milsurp After Hours patch.

Two 1911 clones. One is .45 cal and the other isn't. Guess what they are top and bottom.

Didn't mean to screw up your thread. I missed the email part. Mea Culpa.

To me it looks like:

1. Beretta M1934

2. Ballister Molinas

3. Makarov

4. PP/PPK

5. CZ-82

Ok, looks like not one of my better ideas.

Looks like this one must be too hard. Not that many pistol collectors here I'd guess.

I'd say none of them were revolvers - how's that

You win Clyde

Post by Niner » Sat Nov 10, 2007 12:10 pm

You did it. By the way that one with the two together includes the Ballister Molina actually, although from the picture it would probably be impossible to distinguish it from a Rigaud. The Star b is the other M1911 clone in that picture as you pointed out.

The Manurhin made Walther I thought would be a little tricky to begin with so I let the picture show a bit of the manufacturers emblem.

I'll mail you the prize as soon as I know where to mail it. Check your message box here at the site, Clyde.
