kh did a Quiz on it already, now here my observations:
It is based on a Ishevsk made 1944 M44, as evident by tang stamp and early, non self locking bayo assembly.
Most numbers mach, barrel, boltbody, buttplate, mag floorplate and Stock( no visible so goo but the whole barrel number is stamped across the underside of the buttstock right behint the sling slot) and also the cocking piece hat the lat two digits of the serial.
Bolthead is stamped with two numbers, non match, one is outlined.
Conneckting piece is also mismatch.
The full serial is also written inside the handguard by pencil.
There is a second set of numbres on the left hand side of the barrel, partially unter the woodline. Thin numbering looks exactly like the one, I found on a DDR made M91/30 replacemanet barrel.
There was a lot of sand under the handguard and under the barrel.
Circle in a square stamp on barrel, receiver and boltbody.
Now, who has some more egyptian M44 to compare this one to????????
