Weelcome
Many thanks for the very nice wellcome gentlemen and all those others not from Bonnie Scotland :-)
I have never come across a shooting forum with so many Scots, it must be free!!
Someone asked about Lagavulan. In my humble opinion this is the finest malt I've ever come across with Laphroaig as a close second. They both come from Islay and take a bit of beating but it is very interesting trying others to see if they are better.
I am presently waiting on a Swiss K31 coming up from Birmingham, England after proofing. A friend who is a dealer imported it for me from Augustus Fine Antiques in Switzerland. I seem to lean more to the ex military rifles, they just appeal so much more to me having a bit of history.
I also have a Remington 700, .223 which I use on the range and hopefully for a wee bit of roe and fox hunting.
Thanks again for the wellcome, I wil be haging around here for quite a bit and hope to have a good natter with most of you.
All the best, John
