Site difficulties related to server move

Post by Niner » Thu Jan 17, 2008 11:24 am

The server provider moved the site as an "upgrade". We all know what this means. Things are a little screwed up at the moment.

Maybe it will all right itself pretty quickly.

Let's hope so.

Eventually I'm going to move the site from Ipower to some other provider. Ipower has been pretty reliable here but my other site has had a lot of problems and I'm moving it as soon as I can.

In the mean time, stay tuned. It will be back to something like normal pretty soon. I have them working on it. At least that's what they say they are doing. :loco:

Server change from hell today

Post by Niner » Thu Jan 17, 2008 9:10 pm

Seems almost right now. Biggest problem is I have to login twice to login once and the cookies don't seem to work to remember my login. I sent a question to the server tinkerers. Maybe they can fix it soon.

Present explanation of having to login twice is that its the new internet explorer software...Vista. Somehow I got my doubts.....but at least things are working, mostly, for now.
