Shot my sporterized Turk today

Post by Niner » Wed Aug 06, 2008 4:44 pm

Back in June of 2000 I bought this short Turk 8mm Mauser from SOG. It came drilled for a scope and came with the rings and screws to tighten them down too. Total cost $88 including the $9 shipping. The stock was the orginal but cut down and refinished. Looks ok for the money.

In any case took it to the range with me along with some 1939 Turk ammo to see if I could still shoot it. I haven't fired it in probably four or five years.

In any case, resighting the scope from about 75 feet proved not hard.
