Its a 1943 Husquvarna with blond wood, there is a tad less blueing on the muzzle and the magazine floor plate, but the wood is better and is doesn't have the red dot on the safety flag, which I've found out is an Antipodean characteristic so not in the spirit of the original.
As I don't have a blond stocked Sewdish Mauser in the collection I've decided to go for the blond, provided it shoots as good as the brunette.
I have to confess though AJ that when it comes to the esthetics of Swedish Mausers the gentleman prefers an brown stocked maiden.
