I know, not a Mauser, but...
I saw one today, well, well worn. All there but the mag dust cover, however. Carbine, I think. The bore and rifling looked surprisingly good. Little blue, but no worse than most turks. I can probably have this for a song, under $100. Is this a case of why am I even thinking about it? What are these like as shooters? I'm surprised I walked out of there without it, but I really don't know a thing about them. I did know enough to correctly identify it, and what the caliber was (I was worried that I had incorrectly identified a 71/84.) Which keeps up my reputation. I know that I don't know sh*t, but they keep showing me these old rifles. Could be worse.
