After over-dosing on BSA Martinis, I got this yen to dabble in a bit of "boltish" perversion (that's a joke, son) and bought a Winchester 52 Pre-A. Then I bought a Savage 19-L. Now I'm fighting off a Remington 513T. Please help me!
I'm real impressed with them. They're both 1930s vintage, very accurate and both came with Lyman sight sets, which tickled me no end since I got real used to the peep rear and ring-on-post front sight setup on the BSAs. The Savage has a blade insert in the front sight at the moment, but I'll change that as soon as I get some more inserts for the Lyman front sight.
Although I prefer iron sights, I finally gave in and bought an old Lyman Junior TargetSpot for the 52. Lordy, but those old scopes can get expensive!

The scope was about 2/3 of the price of the rifle! Still, the rifle just wouldn't look right without a 20-some-odd-inch scope instead of a modern shortie.
