Wish list?
Now that the holidays are behind us and the new year is ahead, have any of you been thinking about a gift to yourself. Which gun or accessory is next on your list?

I want one of these. I mean the 1911 R, not the magazine. I can afford the magazine. The pistol is another matter.

Baker.......................................
http://www.militaryheritage.com/baker.htm
Although I have an original 1812 split stock Baker it is far too valuable to shoo but I would love to own one of these so I could play with it.............................
I did ask Davide Perdosoli to consider making one when I visited them last September but perhaps it would be too much work for them. So far I haven't heard anything

Re: Wish list?
Duncan.
This might seem a silly idea, but have you tried contacting Napoleonic Re-enactors?
There are several groups representing the 95th and 60th Regiments and they have to get their rifles from somewhere (they certainly don't use originals).
Just an idea.

Re: Wish list?
Hi Tom.
You can buy an Indian pattern Baker 'Shotgun' in .650" from Henry Krank for about £520.00 but I am not sure who makes them. Anyroadup, I want the proper rifle, not a smooth bore. At the moment however I don't have 5/9d to rub together
