"Nice to have" items

Post by Dutch Mosin » Sun Apr 22, 2012 10:30 am

I talked to an ammunition collector last week.
He told me he had some Russian .22LR and a "cut-in-half" 7.62x54R cartridge.

I visited him today and bought both items and......a small French powder measure.
I don't know if it's really old or a replica, I just liked the way it looked and the price was right.

Still searching for the manufacturer.

I also liked this "cut-in-half" cartridge.
He made it himself.

Last but not least , the Russian .22.
On the front of the box it says: pistol cartridge and on the side: 50 pcs.
I'd love to have a translation of the rest.

I have quite a few measures like that one. It seems to have been cleaned up a bit to me, the cup looks like it has been polished with a wire brush, possibly on a Dremmel. I will try and photograph mine for you Martin.
There is a collectors site which I have lost the URL to but will post it if/when I find it. Somewhere on here is a post with some of my pioeces :loco:

on the .22...............................Попробуйте с помощью Google Translate. Это может помочь вам исправить это!

Thanks for the link and the "google translate tip" Duncan.
Let me know when you have found the URL to the collectors site.
I'll try and find it myself in the meantime.

Great collection of powder measures you have there.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin
