And the Haendler&Natermann swadged lead bullets(copper washed and special plastic coating) leave no dirt in the barrel.

But other MKVI may differ!
Is it difficult to get molds in Germany today?

They were regulated for 265 grain round nose bullets. Imperial arms used to sell me my hard cast swaged and lubed bullets. Gone now and I've no idea where to get moulds from here! Lee Precision offers their 456-220-1R conical bullet mold for the Ruger 44 Old Army, P/N 90384. The list price is $26 i...

I have one of these with the case hardened outside hammer. Bought it at a gun show in Nashville for $14 in 1964. Serial number is 1089xx. I could take and post a picture if you are interested. I have shot this pistol quite a bit. Works well with cast bullets. Throws empties about 20 feet to right an...

Ham & Limas.

Nobody ever ate them. Couldn't trade them to the locals.

Only use was as targets. When hit by an M-16 bullet they exploded in a very satisfying light green mist.

Sentimental Journey

Two B-17 were here in Denver about that time. I was at the Arapahoe County airport on business and heard them. Blew off my schedule and followed my ears. Whole bunch of old war birds on display. As I stood gaping, a Spitfire came in for a landing and taxied up. Made my day.
