Some opinions please

I have very rerely come across a Martini Enfield and there seem to be alot of them that are not exactly what they should be.

This one http://brocks.macrobatix.com/default.tp ... atarq=7027 appears to be within my price range.

As long as you don't want informed opinions you can have mine

It looks good to me but then I know almost nothing about them.

I would point out that the proof marks on the knox form ARE civilian proof marks for Birmingham. A military one would be BM. It also lacks marks to the receiver, and doesn't look scrubbed, so I'd say its a BSA civilian model. However, other than that it looks as good as can be gauged from pictures, and civilian ones often had the advantage of not being given to Squaddies.

$600 doesn't sound too bad, especially as getting one in from the UK would be difficult I imagine.

as a friend of mine tells me (normally when hes trying to sell me something), when will you see another one?

The carbine looks exactly like mine. The proof marks on the barrel are the same. I have seen a lot of fakes, but this one looks real, going by the pictures anyway.
