Nice collection. NEW and Remington. Looks like one with both the English contract mark and the German property mark. Bet that rifle had quite a history....if we could only know it.

Thanks Robert, the 05 has the Izhevsk Cartouche & 2 German Deutsches Reich stamps on the stock, the 42 Tikka has a German Deutsches Reich stamp on the stock and the Austrian "Artillerie Zeugs Fabrik" arsenal stamp on it. The N.E.W. still has its "English Contract" stamp on it's stock but it is well worn.
The 42 also has a wooden crossbolt in the stock that was redrilled to take the newer steel crossbolt, you can see it in both pic's of the crossbolt.
