Hopefully I can find someone to keep her for the weekend, and then I'll be over shooting matches and indulging in post-shooting activities. I...

Re: .22lr Martini??????
What would you like? A small-action BSA would be easiest to obtain, style model 15 or 12/15. These actually are target rifles with target sights. Military converions, OTOH, are quite a bit harder and more expensive...

Re: .22lr Martini??????
Chris,
You just need to find a seller willing to go throught the hassle, and everything will be fine. Depending on the Martini you want, I could put you in touch with someone who has a few for sale and already did the same thing for me...

Just handled a L-E No.9 .22 trainer...
at the range yesterday. I presume this one was to go along with the no.4 .303 rifle - well, at least they are lookalikes. A friend of mine had just purchased it for .22 practice, and was shooting it at the range yesterday. After zeroing it and just before the end of shooting, I finally managed to wr...

577-450 loads
Depends - both PP and GG will shoot well, but for rapid-fire sequences I definitely would prefer Greased bullets though. I personally don't use any filler at all, just 86grs of Swiss FG with an appropriate wad column (card wad, lubed felt wad, another card wad). Maybe I am too cautious, but I believ...

Re: One of my milsurps...
Adam,
To be honest - I bought this one on Gunbroker, in the US - with the exchange rate, it was even cheaper than buying one in SA (provided I could find one). Not that I'm complaining, mind you...

Re: One of my milsurps...
Mick, Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to that shoot, work intervening unfortunately... However, I fully do intend to go to some other HBSA shoots, but I won't be able to make this one. As to whether I will bring this rifle, that's another story. And yes, this one also has that 9-groove barr...
